For two years (since 2014) on this Chaplin: Film by Film blog I’ve been reviewing every existing Charlie Chaplin film, in order, from 1914 on every 100th anniversary of original release. I’m currently posting 2000 words essays on each film from 1916.
I’m writing about every one of Chaplin’s 82 films (mostly shorts!), speeding up after the Mutual shorts in 2016-2017. I have a plan that runs through to the end of 2019, as I doubt I’ll be around to do A Countess From Hong Kong on its 100th anniversary in 2067!
Your very welcome financial support will help in the purchase of research materials and ensure I can commit the time to fulfil the mission of covering every film through to the end of 2019. Please donate whatever you feel you can through this PayPal link.
Many thanks!
